Celebrate Día de los Muertos 2026 at the California Museum’s annual fiesta on Saturday, Oct. 10!

Highlights include:

• Grand opening of Sendero de las Almas Luminosas (Path of the Luminous Souls), a new experience featuring a path of altars illuminating spaces throughout the Museum.

• Appearances by altar artists from Self Help Graphics & Arts, an iconic cultural arts organization serving Chicana/o and Latinx artists based in Boyle Heights

• Mayahuel food, drinks and snacks for sale

• Maquilli Tonatiuh Aztec Dancers performance and ceremonial blessing

• Performances by Las Hijas de Maria and Ballet Folklorico

• Live music by Mariachi Bonitas de Dinorah Klingler

• Sugar Skull Workshops (advance registration required)

• Mercado de los Muertos featuring pop up shops

• Hands-on crafts & activities (ages 3 & up)

• Special group photo for costumed guests that will be shared on the Museum's social media.
